Description Another one, done for fun. Been meaning to draw Kris Anka's design for a while now. Also had this skyline in the back of my mind, from my flight back from the US a bit more over a month ago. I've been mainly working on my own comic project (still, until forever), but decided it was time to just paint something for the hell of it. Been a while.

So, the cape spells out my nickname, which wasn't even intentional at first. But once I put the colors in it just kinda popped out (reminds me a bit of DAIM, but no idea where that came from) and I went with it. I'm not sure how obvious it is, so I'd be curious about feedback on that one.

Brilliant. Your nickname may not be clearly apparent in the cape but the fact that it's so stylized to look a little like lightning bolts is a wonderful turn. The dawn/twilight sky soaked my head some and made my mind all fuzzy.

Initially I was actually only trying to stylize the cape, to make the shapes give off that electricity vibe for the lightning bolt that you mentioned. The name kinda happened on its' own, but I'm actually kinda glad it's not clearly apparent to most.

To be honest though, I can't really make out your nickname from the cape, although I'm guessing its just me not seeing whats in front of me. I'm sure if you tell me I'll just slap myself for not seeing it. I see the M, so i'm gonna guess it to be "Monk" because of Username...
