We all hold dearly to our masks and some will cling to them forgetting too often that the mask is not them. I enjoy my mask and have set its lines to model the next one in its stead to enjoy the caliber of a blended masquerade

Oh my God this is incredible! Your skill level and originality are unreal. This also reminded me of something that happened on salvia so much that I literally "felt" this piece like a real experience.

Man, where to begin? Salvia lacks the "otherness" that you seem to get with certain hallucinogens - it just feels like something happening deep inside. But the first time I took it I could feel all the layers of my awareness being stripped off - the external world (touch,smell), then my own body (internal processes), then my own mind - and it was almost like going all the way inside is the same as going all the way out. Like consciousness is ultimately some kind of moebius strip. I felt like my mind and body, which I normally think of as "me", were little more than a finger puppet on a giant imperceptible hand. And that the same hand animates every single person. It was, um... freaky. But on reflection I'm glad I experienced it
I can't put it into words in a way that satisfies me. But this picture reminded me of it - a very physical sensation of removing the pieces of yourself that you think are so important (pulling off the face, then the bones, then even the brain!) and finding that there's just an underlying natural "will" even without them. I was struck by your use of something as primal and alive as wood to encapsulate the bodies in the image, and that there is a backdrop of something indescribable and divine behind it all. I can't believe you were able to put all of that into an image, but I'm definitely grateful that you have!

Yes your idea of pieces of yourself is absolutely correct and I always divide into four main parts/step: 1-intellect/thoughts, 2-emotions/receptivity, 3-instincts/creativeness, 4- matter/body ...but all these parts belong and(or) are a reflection of a "great all"
