I love your blades. Especially this one and Fiain Croi on your website, but I have to know how to make such intricate hilt furniture. Are they cast or just forged and a lot of careful filing?

Hi. Every guard I've made in steel, and even some of the bronze ones, are ground down from blocks of metal. Fiain Croi was done with angle grinder and belt sander mainly.
