Agh, what, this is the last time I finish art on another monitor, because this came out WAY darker than I thought. This doesn't even look like Kesame anymore, 'cause she's white, and she came out so brown.. D: I'm really sorry! I'll whip out a much better gift later.

It's been so hard doing commissions lately because I started them such a long time ago, with a completely different style. My style's changing, and it's not just one thing - it's everything - from technique, to shading, to coloring, to organization, EVERYTHING. I can't concentrate, I have to pick up random projects and work on them bits at a time, and every time I do, the pieces undergo some drastic change that's so confusing. I'm still trying to fit inside a skin that doesn't feel like /me/ yet, and it's the most frustrating feeling. And even more frustrating than that, I feel horrible because I have commissioners that have been waiting for almost a year now. ): I need to get my shit together. Hurry up, style! D:

But, um, rant aside.. *Sullivan has been a HUGE inspiration to me, lately. As you can prolly see, I've started to stray away from lineart and more into digital painting. Her style and technique is so ... awesome. I can't even. You can see how she's inspired this piece. xP On top of that, she seems like a really sweet person! And she's so active, she always posts things. ;_; it's crazy. This was just a little thank you to her, for being so great.
