Description More messing with body shapes, this time figuring out what the "rules" are for each species so there's some rough guideline around which I can design each character depending on their type, and how far to take that.

I know you must get this a lot, but is the BBA comic going to start again? It's really good!

I like the differences in the wolves. I have a huge problem with cookie cutter wolves and it makes me so damn happy to not see that in your concept art C:
So the ice ones are made up, what are they like in the comic :0

I like em all except for the timber wolves, which seems more like a jackal and has a scary scary thin waste. I know it's just a style but it's honestly more of a jackal with such large ears and it looks like it is starving. Just some honest feedback with no hurt intended.

This is pretty neat!

Would you mind me referencing this when I draw my own characters on the BBA forum?

The big chests means they run lot so their snouts should be thicker and so their noses. And the Timber seems to live through forests and messy landscapes because of his sholders, they might be used to jump and miss branches and roots X)

These look good! I like the stockyness of the dire wolves, but I was wondering, are you thinking or shortening the legs a bit? They seemed to have stockier legs than most other wolves I remember.

Stockier yes, but they're otherwise the same height as timbers and a great deal heavier (I believe the average was 40 lbs more than even the upper range of timber wolf weights). I've emphasized differences a bit in height to suit personal taste though (nothing extreme though) and to make those differences stand out all the more once the two are seen together in-comic.

I'm pretty sure it will be more apparent in the comic. I was just wonderin'.

I can't wait to see more detail on the different types. I like it when comics have a variety of types with a certain species.

What are those markings under the wolves' bellies at the bottom there?

Markings? You must mean the diagrams. It indicates how to go about constructing each species.
