Description
Character overhaul commission forThis character was pretty simple and already fairly solid as a concept. A wolf loses his family and thinks he's all alone, then discovers he has a surviving niece. Not much I would change except push his age from seven to maybe eleven, to give his journey a sense of urgency and the plagues of age contrasting against the youth of his last known relation.
I love drawing old canines!

at fist glance I thought maybe this was a really awesome character concept for Soullex (the angry one) from Call of the Wild. But I'm glad it's not. I like the little story behind him better.

Depends. Simple naked things with simple markings like this would equate to perhaps 3 to 5 hours of work. Digital stuff I don't have to mail out and doesn't cost me resources, so it's cheaper than traditional (see my previous Jada doberman submission for example). So digital, around $60. Traditional, I'm gonna saying $100. Traditional takes longer, involves more resources, and I gotta ship it in a tough expensive container because the mailman is a dip and often folds my work. Hence why I stopped doing traditional: the heartbreak was a little much for me whenever I heard the piece had been abused.
It's more expensive the more complex a character is, like say tons of markings or armor or multiple clothing sets. Or it's like, a huge dragon with many parts to it. Those take far longer and could cost twice as much.

this is digital, yep. The Jada one is traditional, inks and watercolor
