- Qilin has a hyper hearing sense. only calm hunters can capture it since if ones heartbeat is too fast. it will hear on

- they are a very quite species. it can walk so calmly that it is nearly impossible to hear it. even its call are so high that only beings with an already good hearing can hear them 'talk'

- it have been seen that the Qilin can control the wind element. they have been seen control mass fires with their Wind element so it looks like it either breath fire or smoke. they possible do this to safe themselves from forest fires and to avoid predators

- rare times they have also been seen with a crystal based element magic. these Qilin are unfortunate very rare in the wild because of their sparkling fur.
