last was Mark My Words

So....many....MONSTERS!
actually I enjoy making background monsters

anyway, Hoved are a pretty old monster(around same age as Gerson) so Wingdi is pretty much a mere child in his eyes.
in my AU; 30 years old are the common full-grown monster age. most monster stop ageing in those human years

next is First Day At Work

I it is written apprentice. Just wanted to point that out ^^

I like the inclusion of random monsters in the first half. Of course monsters would talk more about a fallen human than a new scientist. More interesting news.

I am pretty sure, the lindworm has german roots... nice to take this legendary creatur for your design.

oh, I'll fix that

hehe yeah it is, don't think Wingdi care anyway

it is possible the Lindworm also have German roots, though I am sure that the Lindworm are a Scandinavian dragon.
in my capital we have a fountain of a Lindworm and a bull fighting each other.

the Lindworm also appear few times in old Norse tells

There are some towns in Germany that use the lindworm for their emblem. And the famous "Nibelungenlied" also features a lindworm in it. I think it is rooted in both countries.

I must admit, I don't know much about the scandinavian countries... they mostly stay out of focus. You  almost never hear anything about them.

it is VERY possible that we share many of the same fable creatures, guess Hoved is waaaay to big to live in my country anyway, Germany have far more space XD
(and some awesome scenery I might add)

that's because nothing big happen here
the biggest drama here right now is that our Queen has bad knees to do her duties and her Husband are now on Royal retirement
ooohh so much drama we have

Oh, thanks a lot for the praise.

Oh man, I wish it could be as peaceful here as it is in your country. We have so much drama going on. I often shut myself out of the news cause I don't want to hear the drama. My husband usually tells me everything anyway to get mad at it.

Isn't it only boss monsters who stop aging?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FableworldNA In reply to whitebearboy [2017-03-22 20:56:51 +0000 UTC]

well, in my AU; Skeletons and Lindworms are also boss monsters
I know they say in the game the royal family stop ageing but I decided to changes it to most monsters stop ageing
when they reach 30 human years and only begin ageing again around the 200 years.
most monster in this AU can reach up to 300 years before dying of old age.

Hoved is possible over the 200 years

whitebearboy In reply to FableworldNA [2017-03-23 01:24:11 +0000 UTC]

Got it. Why did you decide to change that?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FableworldNA In reply to whitebearboy [2017-03-23 06:58:27 +0000 UTC]

mostly because I find it kind of backfiring in my stories
if boss monsters are immortal and only age when they gets kids.
it means if a boss monster gets kids in a young adult age, they will die far earlier than its friends.
what will happen if they get more than one child? will their age process gets faster, which again are not very good.
and if the child dies(like Asriel) it means they stop fully in aging and they actually have to either die in battle or try to have a new baby.

in my eyes, that just disrespecting their dead child.
that's why I changes it, but I did put up some other rules around the marriage thing
