Well first...how do you start when doing such a sculpture?
And, how did you actually begin with making sculptures?

oh hahaha how do i start?
well first most of the times i have an idea of what i want to do!, then maybe i do some sketches of some poses and start with an wire armature you can have a look here [link] and then i begin to put clay on it and give it shape, the rest well you have to do it with practice.
If you are going to make a referenced sculpture (for example like the eddie) you dont have to just look at the photo you want to sculpt, but you have to look for more references of the character to have a more accurated figure.
well about how did i get into sculpting, i just did, since child XD i mean i always liked to make such things, so first i always used the common plasticine and the muddy clay =S of course im still learning a lot but if you are really interested in sculpting i think the best to do is getting on it, and explore
dont try to make any style, just do your thing
