the color is what gets me. i love the whole palette of scarlet and crimson and flesh and all of those bold red-based hues contrasting with the harsh greyscale of the mask and the flashlight. the way the reds and blacks clash makes for something insecure, yet stable and alive.

also, i would have expected a more messy and macabre mood with the reds and black, but instead there's this red-carpet feel, like there's a noble air to it. maybe it's just that way that you blurred the far side of the image: it makes the background seem more beautiful by concealing detail.

great job on this. incredible job.
