The composition is spot on. The water is moving and is crystal clear - you can feel how cool it is. I would have liked to see more light in the back, though, revealing what's in the upper left, or, more back lit on the ferns. It seems kind of grey without a warm lit spot. I think the wood could have been drawn out a bit more too, with some more shades of brown and warm decay to offset the coolness of the rocks and pale leaves. The movement of he water and the angle of the fallen logs keeps drawing your eye towards the falls and the build up on top of it. The upper right is a bit too dark, too. I think it would be ok if there was more of a light focal on the ferns or, on somewhere near the falls, to contrast it. Still, I like this photo very much.

This is the kind of picture that I would love to produce, my comments are observations I am by no means a good photographer!

Overall I think that the colour is good and the lighting has worked for you,  the left of the picture is blurred, and cropping out the leafs and dead space on the right of the picture would remove some of the minor bluring on that side, that said it would effect the framing of the picture.

That said I really like it and personally think that its a good picture.

The Canon 10-22mm USM 3.5 lens seems to have some severe blurring issues at certain angles.  I think I might try stopping it down to avoid this in the future.
