At once, the elusive memories of the dream she had the night before returned to her mind, precipitating into a puddle, then a lake which she swore she recognized. Ming wished the thick layer of steam fog over the lake would clear. When it did she peered into the familiar body of water, marveling at the shimmering stillness over the faintest pulses of emerald green. When her senses returned to Iroh's prison, she glanced at the cup of white jade tea she prepared for the former general and knew that if he lifted the lid a chimney of steam--not unlike the one over Lake Laogai--would escape and dissipate into the air. And then it hit her.

"I think you should take the rest of the day off, Ming." Iroh noticed her eyes had become cloudy and lost. Her kindness had been an unwavering beacon of light for him during his imprisonment and secret rehabilitation. He hoped she did not fall victim to an illness while he feigned his own.

"You don't look well."

"I don't understand, General Iroh."

A face emerged from the lake and smiled at her in complete darkness.

"There is no Ming in Ba Sing Se..."

I hope this year has been going well for you all! My apologies to those who've been waiting for an update on the WIP comic. Though I've been dabbling with different sketches and ideas, progress has been made since the last WIP post for this project. Hope to share more of it in the future

This animation started similarly to the previous Hitman transformation as a kind of sketch morph. After burning out on the coloring process for the WIP TF comic, I went through some unfinished projects and decided to complete a rough Avatar themed transformation. Though I usually preferred the line-only versions of previous morphs, I was happy with the way the colors turned out here. Changing Ming's headgear into strands of hair was particularly interesting!
