Its really quite a beautiful environment. The lighting is gorgeous and the feel is an odd combination of authoritative power and a sort of simple gentleness. And if that made any sense congrats to you again.

There's something about the atmosphere in the painting that I really like. Can't tell ya quite what it is, but the choice of colours rocks. And looking at those buildings from the bridge, now THAT's perspective there.

You're welcome!
Did you do all of it with a tablet and painting it on PS?
I guess tablets are very useful!
Btw, how did you make it to the Luminarium?
I hear it's really hard to get in that group lol

yep, I painted all with my tablet an PS. I used to paint with a mouse, but took me 3 times the amount of time I need now.
I made into Luminarium because I didnt relyed on my space art to enter. I choose to work with digital painting wich is way more variated, and every work shows some sort of uniqueness. I knew, and still know, my space art is already good, but, I also knew it had to be at Taenaron, Gucken or phoenix-06 level to be accepted by the crew, and im afraid their, is much more advanced than mine in a couple of aspects.
Its a matter of knowing your own level

Wow you painted it all with your tablet? That's raelly cool!
I'm gonna start drawing like that on PS, with a tablet when I get one. BUt that's on my 18th birthday in 8 months lol
So you made it to the Luminarium by relying on your digital painting rather than space art?
Hey I got a question, do you ever boast over your skills? XD
I dunno why I'm asking that, just curious.
Knowing your level?
It's kinda hard to know... I'm sure just about everyone loves their art or thinks they're never good lol
I don't know what mine is...
I think on a scale from 1-10, I'd be at like... 4? And gucken and co. would be at like 10 XD
What do you think?
I mean a few artists like Gucken and Archangelzz saw and commented my newest deviation and they said they liked it and they found a few flaws. But just the fact that they liked it made me so happy! And I'm gonna keep in mind the tips they gave me to improve.
Right now I'm trying to get the most tips and critiques on my art so I can improve and see what I didn't do right so I can be better.

He, you dont need a tablet to start painting, you can still use your mouse, like I did here:[link] It will take you a lot more time than with a tablet, but its not impossible
About my skills?, to be honest I always feel there is something missing in all of my works, that I could have done better, and that is the best thing you know, because you keep progressing until you are temporarily satisfied, and so the cycle starts all over again. You are your best critique. Whatever you feel about your work is the most reliable truth you will find about it, other opinions can give you new perspectives, but yours is always the most important.
you are progressing a lot, and your art will improve quickly. always love what you create, and keep practising all you can

Most of those buildings and the way they're arranged remind me of Combine architecture in Half-Life 2, especially the security section checkpoints in the city where you start.
But the atmosphere and tone and palatte of this piece is gorgeous! With the street in the foreground it looks like this might be a scene from a racing game set in the not-quite-so-distant-future.

For something that came out of your head.. It came out really amazing. No ref just out of your imagination. Awesome work, I don't see anything wrong with it. *thumbs up!*
