this image, with some luck, is going to be the cover image on one of her upcoming vinyl and cd singles...i´m working on the cover image for her album as well, the album will be released end of the year. when i´m done editing and retouching (which will take some time since she´ll be interacting with herself on the image

You cannot imagine the impact of a hand could have on the whole picture unless you include it.
Meaning next time, try to do two frames: one with and one without. You'll see which photo you'll choose.
Before, I really thought it didn't matter. Then I realize that hands are part of the character. As an example, visit ~vuda gallery: in all his portraits, the hands play an essential role.
Moreover, you have movement, you have youth, energy, dynamism in your photo. But then, in the bottom, bam! Cropped! Too bad, you lose the movement you have created with the rest of the image.
I really like the work you have done with her. You know how to work in studio also. The lightning is wonderful!

well of course i can imagine
thing is, for this shot i chose horizontal format, and i cropped her hand, i have tons of other shots in vertical format with all of her hands...but the rest isn´t as good! the hair, the strong pose etc. isnt as good as it is here! so to me its okay if i lose a hand if everything else is great! and to be honest, its not the first thing you look onto here
the thing i dont like is the thing with the nostrils, guess i have to retouch them a bit!

great CD cover, she must be really happy
a bit too much of chin up (watch for the nostrils) and the cropped hand. other than that, it's a damn good CD cover! light, exposure, pose/motion, impact

i dont think the cropped hand is a bad thing here! it doesnt always has to be everything in the frame! anyone can imagine a hand so its okay
