I like your interpretations found here. I've had to undergo a similar set in order to settle Gaster's final designs in my concepts, though I still have to settle later-plot possible changes.

But to that same end, I find that any variations on the traditional human skeleton form can be subtle and meaningful, not just including how Monsters seem inclined to differ and vary in structure, but also in the thought that Monsters themselves are reflections of their own soul. I find this particularly resonant with Gaster.

One detail I do note here is the expanded surface area and strength of the modified shoulder joint. I was considering a similar set of factors to my own earlier designs for Gaster, rather a nod to the 'Pak' sci-fi beings - devastatingly intelligent and strong beings. But, I didn't know how many people would know the reference. And further, there's a certain poignancy in my materials to Gaster seeming more human in overall form, despite notable extant differences.
