Or... yeah I really have no idea with this one, something to do with chi I guess? Either way hot damn this team is beautiful and I love their design so Much! It's tragic that they were never really used in any real capacity besides the White Ranger, but they're still great. The theme song, the zords, the whole aesthtic is amazing. The show itself? I dunno I've only seen a few episodes and I forgot most of it.

Trying to integrate the Dairangers into my own canon isn't the most difficult thing since 1, their powers are ancient so they can be set in the past, and 2, they don't appear enough in actual canon to conflict enough. The only hold out is Kibaranger, he does pose the question of how he fits in with our good old classic MMPR. The source of the powers can be Saba/Byakkoshinken but the question then becomes how does he fare mixing with the ninja powers? Does he at all? My current explaination for those powers is it's the ninja medallions from Kakuranger reverse engineered to work with redesigned dino bucklers creating a new power, but then there's only five. I suppose we'll see, but eventually I do plan to revisit and overhaul that custom team so I'll try to figure it out then.

I'm all in all really quite happy with how these turned out. As one would imagine the gulf between the quality in reference material for the main team vs white ranger is absurd, but I don't feel like it's too noticable in the quality of the art. I wasn't planning on doing these next but I chickened out of what I was working on first. I'll try to get back to it. I knew the Dairangers would be easier but by no means easy compared to some others (esspecially Kirinranger *shudders*), proportions were a bit tricky but they worked out in the end.
