Description
Decided to finally post the full group. This was pretty much done well before any of the other Transformers stuff so far.
They are in order:
top - Prima, Vector, Megatronus, Nexus, Mortilus, Solus
bottom - Onyx, Solomus, Epistemus, Adaptus, Alchemist, Micronus, Autonomous
Most should be recognizable but I think the only one left unaltered is the Last Autobot. Megatronus is just based on the Decepticon insignia as is common, Solus was tweaked to further match my Camien insignia, Nexus, Adaptus and Onyx I've already explained, Solomus and Epistemus have clearly had some influence from Alpha Trion and Quintus respectively (and may or may not go down that path) Micronus and Vector are mostly unchanged (had trouble settling on Vector's colour scheme) and Alchemist looks mostly similar but less... I dunno, spidery than usual. Mortilus is as I stated before mainly just the "real name" of Liege Maximo, though I did take Mortilus' design into consideration when working on it. Prima is the only one I did pretty much from scratch. He has quite a few different looks so I just looked at a few for reference and just figured out my own design from there.

The intention with this particular image is to depict them all more or less as they were at the time of their initial existence. What I figure is that they were created by Primus as his warriors against the eventual return of Unicron, but Megatronus betrayed them, blasting Solus through the chest and tearing Nexus apart. The others tried to subdue him but it wasn't until Vector (with his power enhanced by Micronus) was able to stop his by opening an inter dimensional portal an used it's energy to stop him, destroying his body and dispersing his energy into an alternate dimension, but also trapping Vector across all time simultaneously. With the cybertronian race now emerging, Autonomous isolated himself away from everything in mourning, leaving the rest to guide the young species. Alchemist chose to observe them from amongst their population whilst Micronus harnessed his remaining connection to Vector's power to create his own small dimension. Onyx left the planet with a colony of his own after feelings of discrimination, and the rest remained to lead Cybertron as it's council, the Guiding Hand. Eventually of course Mortilus' machinations found him exiled from Cybertron, and soon Epistemus and Adaptus chose to leave the planet to follow their own paths. Solomus ultimately stepped down to lead a simpler life, leaving Prima the only acting Prime and bearer of the Matrix, a role he eventually passed on to a successor which would begin a tradition lasting to this day.

Most of this is just a draft of a backstory and many details may change as I ponder things, but for now this is basic history of the first thirteen Primes of Cybertron as I see them.
