I love the movie and this pic, but isn't the ending a bit, well, harsh? I mean she dies of old age while falling out of a window after committing kidnap, and murder!!( flin)

I -loved- this ending SO much. I'm not a huge, insane Disney fan, normally sticking to hard-core stuff...but this ending was so, so up my alley. It makes their happy ending so much more satisfying because they had to go through hell to get it!
Gorgeous coloring job and I love the expressions! Especially poor Flynn! (Incidentally what Flynn did rocketed him right past Phoebus saving the family from the burning building in HOND and shot that little thief right up my "awesome guys" list!)

It's so funny that you mentioned a list because my friends and I actually made one of awesome Disney guys about a year ago. We have to redo it now because of Flynn (yes, we have no lives).

I felt so sorry seeing Rapunzel struggle and scream.

But you have to admit, this scene in the movie made the ending so much more satisfying than if it was something like "Hey Rapunzel, I just helped you see the lanterns blah blah blah- let's always be together." "Okay!" It was really dramatic for a Disney film.
