So I made this like 300 million years ago and forgot to post it because...I got busy with oodles of more art I guess.

A more stable idea to my mind of what Raven's mother looks like, she has medium-length, wavy black hair and blue eyes, as well as an ajna gem given to her soon after she was rescued and brought to Azarath.

In case you somehow missed it, in my DC head canon Arella is soft, gentle, somewhat shy, quiet, but loves animals and tends to be followed by them, reptiles and insects included.
She is the polar opposite of Trigon and though she is kind, her past traumas made it difficult for her to raise Raven, so Azar did most of that.
But she still loves her daughter and cried when she left their dimension, and is always happy when Rae comes to visit.
Arella is strongly empathetic and friendly, liked and respected by pretty well everyone (especially given she's practically a celebrity, but is treated like everyone else).
When her pet doves drop feathers, she collects them until she has a large bulk, then donates them to a metaphysical shop for others to use in energy work.

Arella, in my head is just very tragic but so beautiful and sweet, and nicknamed The Dove of Azarath.
