Sorry guys, no bio!
Not yet, anyway.
I was ridiculously inspired by watching Markiplier play Octodad: Dadliest Catch.
I AM IN LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE with that gameplay!!!
I have no intention of actually obtaining the game for myself as it looks freakishly hard to play, but OMG Octodad was so cute!!!
The gurgling noises, the story, Mark being hilarious -- i was smitten. Still am!
Not to mention i've always had a big love of octopuses
So i decided to make my own octopus alien species for Invader Zim!
They're called Octans aaaand i don't have much on them or even this OC XD
All i know is this is Gurt, he's grumpy and work-driven but is surprisingly talkative and tolerant of others and will socialize...especially if there's alcohol.
So enjoy what i have of him!
I hope i do more with him
--FUN FACTS!!--
Due to language barriers, "octopi" is the incorrect plural for multiple octopuses.
As such, "octopuses" is the preferred term, even though it sounds weird.
"Tentacles" is an inappropriate term for octopus appendages.
It is proper to refer to them as "arms."
Tentacles are appendages made exclusively for hunting, such as with jellyfish and squid.
Arms, on the other hand, are multi-purpose limbs that octopuses use to also pick things up, interact with their environment, and much else.

They just have this appearance of being amazingly intelligent and spiritual creatures. The fact that they're an octopus species contributes to that feel- octopuses are smart little nuts!
Just today I was thinking about the IZ world being populated with aliens based off of different 'Earthly' animals... Humans= apes. Irkens=ants. Vortians=Goats. I know there's a lot of really weird-looking alien designs on the show but for whatever reason I'm in love with that idea. Therefore...octopus alien species!!

OMG LOL picturing all the Irkens as just big ants makes them cuter to me, and picturing Vortians as goats makes them seem derpy and wild
But i share this concept, many aliens in Lilo and Stitch were based off of earthly animals if you look closely.
As such i like to imagine some looking like one of the rhino-based background characters in that movie

Really? I've never looked at the aliens in Lilo and Stitch too closely... I like to imagine all animals and beings in the universe follow a basic 'blueprint' though, I mean..it's not like there's that much diversity in what living creatures can look like. It'd be pretty hard to come up with something totally original in the universe, so having it not compare with anything on Earth would be a feat to behold...

I agree, all life on earth is proven to have a related biological make up and amount of star matter in it~, so i can believe Vortians, Irkens and all the others are made up pf the same genetic codes as humans
I actually wanted to think about Pepps going to earth and meeting a human and interacting

This is interesting to me because there's a rumor going around on the conspiracy circles I frequent, which talks about how you can tell how advanced an alien race is based off of how much technology they use. There are those who don't know it at all who aren't very advanced, then there's those that use it obsessively (us) after discovering it, and then it states the next step up in enlightenment is choosing not to use technology even though you know how to do it. These are supposed to be enlightened beings, since they would have no use for technology- they would have harnessed consciousness at this point and therefore surpassed the use of technology. This is also a good way to decide if an alien species is hostile or not. Hostile ones tend to use a lot of technology and may interfere with the lives of other civilizations, while benevolent species will communicate telepathically/through spirit and won't interfere with the business of other civilizations unless asked or forced.
I honestly didn't really pay attention to the other aliens 
I never actually thought about Vortians visiting humans.. (you'd think that thought process would be easy to find) I'd like to see that, actually
