~~Spyro~~
Everyone's favorite purple boy needs little explanation, but some things should definitely be touched on.
For starters, Spyro is a fire dragon, as evidenced by his horn shape, back fins, and simple tail tag.
His parents, who were fire dragons, bravely came forth with his egg after it was laid, begrudgingly handing over their unborn child to fulfill their eventual destiny.
Later, when the war broke out after Cynder was corrupted and rose to power, Spyro's parents were killed in battle.
~~Elements~~
Spyro learned all his elements in the order he was exposed to them:
Fire
Electricity
Ice
Earth
Aether (light)
Aether (dark)
Magma
Water
Wind
Cynder introduced Magma, while Spritz and Whirleer (OC's) introduced water and air.
~~Preference~~
Spyro is straight, but also demisexual.
He has to gain trust to find attraction to others.
So, no, it wasn't love at first sight with Cynder, but merely pure infatuation and his kind heart shining through.
Over time, some years down the road, he became attracted to her, although Cynder had felt attraction for far longer.
In The Legend of Cynder, Spyro is asexual and does not pair off with anyone.
