My way of thanking the Spirit and Earth for my first wild barn owl encounter the other night!Barn owls are a symbol of strength in the face of adversity, as well as the ability of one to possess wisdom and “sight” where others are blinded by darkness.
In these tricky times, let confidence be your battlecry.

Barn owls are my favorite species of owl. I've been fascinated with them starting around the time I got into Harry Potter, at age 7, but my interest stemmed from seeing them on Zaboomofoo and in other "introduction to the animal world" shows on PBS and other kids' content channels. And then, getting into Labyrinth at age 14 only helped the interest to grow. They are quite the widespread species, living all over the USA and likely in Eurasia as well, but I still manage to find out/rediscover facts about them that amaze and intrigue whenever I get to looking at pictures of them.
Walter, nerd away about this majestic owl species. I love it too.
