The day turned out to be quite grey and windy, when Asatir, the young new colt at Dragonrock Castle should have his first show. Huge dark clouds were chasing over the sky, were rarely a sunray found it's way to the ears. The shadows in the grass hurried and a spoken word was easily taken away by the wind, that slowly grew stronger and faster. It was wispering in everyone's ears, soughing.
Asatir was entering the liberty class today. Just for getting to know the show-feeling already a bit and learning, that this was alright. Chelissa feared a bit, that this young horse would be maybe overstrained: entering a show, seeing tons of new impressions and this in combination with the strong wind harassing the meadows.
Finally, they walked to the large pasture, where this part of the event took part. When it was Asatir's turn, Cheli took of the halter and gave the young stallion a gentel and encouraging push. Asatir was making a few steps away from her, unsure, what was actually expected of him. All those people staring at him, while he was just...being on the pasture? O.o Strange folks.
The wind was blowing strongly in his fine face and Asatir was staring to the dark dark clouds. Pfff, some stupid clouds wanted to frightem him, such little wind wants to make him run away? NEVER! The young stallion proudly stood there, being aware of his audience! No, this was his moment! Such stupid kind of...air wouldn't ruin this! He stood there like an ancient statue for moments, bevore he finally neighed provocating to the dark sky. Then he made a few elegant steps to show HIS audience his grace, changed to canter and afterwards gallopped over the pasture. The wind hushing through the green grey grass was chasing him, trying to catch him, but the foal didn't felt like being chasen: HE was the one to chase the wind, the wind-chaser! And while everybody tried to catch the other, they both were running, flying together over the moving field.
