Rhinocerous Mage
Created with... Anthro Concept Generator ! Take the challenge 
Rhinos make modest mages when compared to the likes of feline sorcerers, for example. Their awkward mobility is compensated for by the huge forces they may command - The rhino mages specialise in arid magic; solidifying, withering and combustion, as opposed to say, conjuration.

Really awesome Rhino, great work making it an anthro. My only comment to the other side of the spectrum, and not even that big of a deal is it has Indian Rhino armor, and African Rhino horns. A bit more hair, reddish hair all over and it could pass for Sumatran though. Besides that this is an amazing piece and I can't wait to see more.

Have you ever heard of Magic: The Gathering? It's a card game that features many different creatures. I think they have an entire rhino army worth of rhino things... as well as felines... I could be wrong. Anyway wanted to try this out but didn't know how to start. How do you set up the images that you make or do you just start drawing and it comes to you?

Ohhh! Yeah, I love Magic, but sadly haven't picked up any cards for years now, but I did always love their character concepts. I wanna find their rhino ones now, thanks for telling me!
My way of working probably isn't ideal because I'm quite impatient
There's ALWAYS gonna be a more dynamic option, so the more you scribble the more ideas you'll find.
As for the process it starts in my sketchbook, get some neat lines down, then scan and clean in Photoshop (or anything that can do 'levels') Then it's many many layers of colourful fun xD Try putting a texture/noise on the default brushes, makes them that bit more interesting p: Hehe.
