This took longer than it looks and longer than it should of done ._. Regardless, I at least like the water.

But yeah, she needs to try and spiritually connect with the dragonkin she's trying to tame, kinda like a meditation, or else it won't work, and she'd prolleh get eaten

I'd love to see more water. I really liked the white highlights.
It's reminding me of FFXIII actually. There's a spear-wielding woman in said game who tames a dragon-like beast at one point in the story. She's a LOT less meditative though.

It's more that I couldn't work for a while, then I had a hard time getting back into it and no people around of the right age to use as reference either, and a hard time going out.. and now this week I'm ok but a month behind. So, a bit concerned really

Great work with the detailed shading on Mayte there, the fur looks awesome. That background, particularly the water, is epic as well. It's very styled, but looks realisitc at the same time.

Hehe, thank you! The water and splashes were the only bit I referenced, so they prolleh turned out to be the best bit ._. Must reference more often, but that's quite hard with anthros. XD
