Description This is a painting of a girl dressed in summer yutaka at a summer festival (note the details such as: sparkling fireworks, the water balloon and goldfish in plastic bag in her hand).

I'm trying to experimenting anime-ish look with watercolors. So, here it is ^^

I have to say I love this sparkly gold painting I bought sometime ago. It's a Pentel Japanese paint (with all writings in Japanese in the label lol). Maybe I'll produce a simple painting using only gold and black very soon D:

This painting is probably the most hours worked on- 4 to 5 hours!!! Can you believe how many hours I spent on this one???!!! Damn.

At first, when I was painting it the first 1-2 hours, I wasn't very excited about it. It didn't have "my feel" to it. I was this close to toss it away in the trash but I patiently worked on it still, and now I'm very happy with this one ^^

Materials:
Watercolor
Gold poster paint
Smooth hot pressed watercolor paper
Drawing pen

Rendering time: 4 to 5 hours on 8" x 5 "
