My first meme! Muahahahaha!I penciled all the drawings and then photoshop colored, which is why the linework is so sketchy, it was great fun. I've never done something like this before, hehehe.
1. Rapunzel wasn't represented well in the trailers at all, so while I entered the film EXPECTING to like Flynn, Stabbingtons, Gothel, etc., I didn't know what to expect from Rapunzel. And then she went and supplanted Ariel as my second-favorite Disney princess.
2. I can't draw horses. At all. This is like my first horse drawing since I was seven.
3. The 'Campfire' scene was the beginning of the real magic for me; go listen to that music again and watch Rapunzel and Flynn's expressions *wibble* But the magic then continues through the Kingdom Dance (LOVE IT) and certainly during the lantern sequence, and the climax and the ending as well, but I couldn't fit all that and anyway that'd be spoilering.
4. I listen to them all daily.
5. Sad but true.
6. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW IT WAS. I FELT LIKE A KID AGAIN, ONLY IT WAS EVEN MORE AWESOME.
7. I got lazy and didn't feel like trying to draw Pascal, cuz he looks hard to draw anyway.
This was super fun, and now I want to watch the movie again!

yes, i love Gothel's songs. she has so much POWER in them!! And i also listen to the soundtrack everyday. I haven't failed to yet! XD Marvelous job! this looks adorable!

Well, my hair's naturally short (hate to say it, but it's probably because I'm black! XD), and in the fifteen years I've been living, it barely touches the tops of my shoulders, and that's on a good day! XD

Wow, I've always had long hair . . . well, not when I was born I suppose, but mine has always grown fast and I only rarely cut it. Maybe my hair grows long because I'm part Hawaiian?

Yay! We both have super long brown hair.
Though I got mine trimmed a bit yesterday so it feels short to me now. Even though It's still 44 inches long...lol

I just hope her hair, now that it's not enchanted, will grow normally. I was a little freaked out when I saw the brown lock from the begining never grew. I mean, the style she got was cute but what if she wanted to change it? lol

I know what you mean, haha. I think it's going to stay ungrowing though, and I ultimately like that even though I'm sad that she can never have beautiful long hair again--it represents so much symbolically: the cutting of her chains, the fact that she's learned to be confident in herself and no longer has to worry about her appearance and such like she did when Gothel was belittling her, or that she's come to realize like Flynn did that it's not her hair that makes her special. I dunno. It's also a little extra tinge of sadness--okay, Flynn didn't die, but the hair did! Lol.
Ah, well. I guess she's a princess, she can buy wigs or something
Kinda creepy imagining the tower left all deserted and filled with a snake of dead hair though (shudders)
