I finally got my hands on a working SNES the other day and started playing Earthbound. Its my boyfriend's cult game and I love it! I have noticed a few strange things though, and although they ARE what makes the game so great, I felt I needed to comment on them. So I'm starting a series of one pannel fancomics called "The Reality of Earthbound" that will be looking into the mysteries of "Beautiful" UFOs, battle tactics, enemies, and infamous weaponry.

For those who haven't played the game, "Praying" is something you can do in battle that has various effects. Sometimes it heals you, sometimes it makes you cry uncontrollably, and sometimes it confuses you (along with many other possible status ailments). The idea of praying confusing someone was just too much for me to pass up so poor Paula is left to contemplate existence.
