*Update* I can finally officially spill the beans now, last time I did I was told that the leak was unauthorized but now that the show happened and photos are all over the internet I can proudly announce these were worn in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show by Devon Windsor, airing this Tuesday December 9th with a pre-show
I am so relieved I don't have to keep it a secret anymore, you have no idea.These are a giant version of the Dragonfly wings with an additional bottom panel. They look pretty massive in person, and are very involved to make. The smaller set will be layered in front, for a total of 10 panels. The frame is made of cut aluminum sheet as usual, with lots of veins but the smaller veins have been painted in.

Curious. How long did it take you to make this set? It's a gorgeous set of wings and looks like one could drive oneself crazy making all the minute veins.

I'm not even sure anymore, I wasn't keeping very good track and since I worked on it off and on I'm not totally sure. Definitely a few days. I had done this as a commission once before, so I had a template already for the frame and all those veins. It still took a good amount of time even then just due to the size of it and getting the metal veins to line up correctly with the painted ones. It almost did drive me batty making all the veins

Our wings are always amazing!!! Do you make them in masculine colors and styles too?? I hope that didn't sound offensive, if it did I'm sorry. I have a male friend two actually who I'm pretty sure would live a pair each!! ^,..,^

Don't worry, that didn't sound offensive at all. A lot of the designs are very feminine, but there are a couple styles that I personally think could be considered more masculine. The Dragonfly wings would actually be something I'd consider somewhat unisex, as are the Goblin wings I am wearing in my DA ID photo, and also the Thistle wings I sell on my website. If needed I can make wings that don't have the iridescence, or can use a pearlescent finish instead.

And actually it's the dragonfly wings that I'm interested in. I mean that I think they'd be interested in. They're brothers and they look like twins but the oldest is 2 years older. Is there a way to make them look similar "at first glance but actually different"?? These friends of mine are very identical and are both born under the sign Gemini. But there're subtle differences, like one has ocean blue eyes, the other has dark brown eyes. And they wear their hair in a similar fashion too, long and wavy.
