I have seen Fae's other work, loosely using one of her images as a reference photo for a work of my own.
I cannot help but view this image through the prism of her total body of work, or at least through the work I have seen. Compared to other works and series, this image is "darker" than much of her other work. There is a brooding, vampiric quality to this one, as opposed to much of her other more whimsical work. Though dark, it doesn't come of as evil or villainous.
I think the overall quality of the image is very good. She approaches these images with professionalism, and it shows. For any artist looking to use this image for manipulation or inspiration, this picture is clean, clear, and emotive. If there is any room for improvement, I would say it would be to ensure that she captures the entire form and figure in such a photo.
The pose itself is standard; not lackluster, not earth-shattering. If the emotion she seeks to convey is indeed one of seriousness and contemplation, then that has been achieved here. However, DA is chock full of these poses, and short of Fae having a loyal following, there is nothing here that makes it a cut above. I don't say this negatively - as I insinuated earlier, I'm a fan - but, in the interest of critical honesty, I have to say the pose could be more dynamic.
Overall, this picture is yet another accomplishment in a long, long list of accomplishments by this artist, whose work is excellent in its own right, and an immeasurably useful tool for so many others.

This is a bold stunning image one of the best I have seen, beautiful model great pose thanks so much for providing it. If someone wanted more colour or detail, the image is large enough that it can easily be lighted in photoshop. Thanks for the strong contrast with the background, very easy to select.
This image could be used in many composites castles, dark woods, sifi. It would also lend it self to adding wings or a sward for a fantasy image walking out of a castle or with a dragon. I can not see anything that I would change in this image, it is perfect.

This is a fantastic picture and very generously provided as stock art. I can see this forming a perfect basis for a dramatic Steam-punk heroine character portrait.
The photograph itself is superb in terms of image quality and colour balance and the model's strong expression, poise and the flaring of the skirt give a great sense of drama to the image. The costume provides sufficient style and variety of layers and textures to work with minimal adaptation yet also would allow plenty of scope for manipulation.
My only criticism might be that the costume might have proved a more adaptable resource if it were in a lighter colour, allowing even more of the detail to be seen. Nevertheless I think this and the rest of this series of pictures in this costume are very beautiful in themselves and also as the basis of adapted art.

Well here's a picture to set heart's aflutter and a tingle up the spine and into the imagination. The first thought is brought on by the clothes. Beautiful,elegant and still quite practical. And evoking a strong 17th or 18th century feel to the image. And that's where the imagination is sparked. All the Lady needs is a brace of flintlock pistols,a rapier and a huge hat with a peacock's feather in it. You then be the pirate,the highwayman or the daredevil swashbuckler. The pose helps immensely. Striding towards camera,face set, hands out from your sides ready to reach for your weapons. Oh yeah, Captain Jack Sparrow would love you. In short, you have a superb photo here. Simple,efficient,pleasing to the eye and heart and fulfilling the task of a stock photo. Providing fuel for the imagination.
