The most noticeable differences are that Americans do not use the U as often and the British spell more like the French:
American:

Chili
Center
Theater
Gray
British:
Colour
Favourite
Bogeyman

Theatre
Grey
There's other spelling differences too. I just find these the most noticeable.

hmm, well i study english for 5 years now, i read it, i speak it, i write it, i understand it, but i make lots of mistakes and sometimes have to use google translator to identify some words O.o does that make me an expert or more intermediate?
