Description There are many trees on the shoreline that have the desire of touching the lapping water below with their leaves. It's amazing how far some will bend and reach without ever falling in.

I must have been staring at this photo for like 20 minutes now.

This is brilliant.

So simple, and I love the description as well - It's like personification through photography - this is hardly ever done right.

Personification is all I do. I rarely shoot a subject unless I can picture a person in its place.

all that iv'e been eating for dinner recently are waffles or soft pretzels or pizza. the tuna was heaven sent.

Either that or the water keeps coming in so much the trees are trying to push it back.

Yes, that is actually the case. When the water freezes in the winter, the ice condences and builds up, pushing on the shoreline and wearing a little bit away each year.
