Description You know that trend where artists just drew (ship) dynamics they were really into with little featureless blobs vaguely shaped like tiny people, often with a few colors to distinct them? Actually, I'm pretty sure that didn't just stop being a trend, but anyway-
Well I'm doing that here but we're also pretending I'm a furry and also I'm very much telling on myself because subtlety isn't part of my vocabulary (so you get specific OCs, characters that belong to either a friend or a videogame thrown in there, and I guess the only fanart I made of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power I ever did thus far). I kind of liked doing that whole thing so maybe I'll do a second part but with dynamics I can't bother to care about. Which is gonna be harder to compile because even with these dynamics I enjoy, it's all about the execution.

Two notes :
  • The dynamics can easily be mixed and matched, I like tropes to be frankensteined (and some of these are left pretty vague on their own anyway). Like a barman & town's wreck can be besties mistaken for a couple, the hyper mad scientist & surly edgelord can be competitive belligerent rivals with benefits, and it really wouldn't be weird for the "enemies to every couple counsellor's nightmare" to be bitter exes that can't just leave eachother to their self-made misery alone. Hell, the example I use (Marion, Roxy and Peter) for the "porquΓ© no los dos" trouple is basically two jocks and a nerd, and they're not dating as of yet so you can add "mistaken for lovers" to that cake mix.
  • In reality, none of these dynamics really need to end up in a romantic fashion for me to really like them, although yes they can end up as ships, but it's not the important part. I'm more here for the journey than the endline anyway. That's kind of the magic of it : writing strong friendships or complicated relations that don't end well is as compelling, if not more sometimes.

  • Would love to see more of these "personal preferences" memes but I also just like doing lists, putting things in order and stuff... as you might have noticed. Also I managed some cute drawings, so eh, why not share.
