I think these thoughts, but they are deadly
this mass hysteria
that rampages my brain.

I know it’s wrong
To kill and murder
But it’s the only thing that keeps my sane.

I'm feeling numb
when I'm in pain
I'm silent when I scream.

I'm caged
when I am free move,
I’m tearing at the seams.

I'm bitter
when I laugh
I'm gleeful when
I choke

because frankly,
the reality is
that life is but a joke.

I’m ignorant
And I’m lazy
I’m selfish, and cruel

I play with people’s lives
Because the people
Are my tools.

I’m a murderer,
A persecutioner,
A reaper for your soul.

Be sure to cover
up at night
or be sure to pay the toll.
