Description
Here's the seventeenth of the drawings from 2020 to be posted. It's not on the "What I Did During the Pandemic of 2020" image thumbnailed below.
The Atlanteon was a super-pentekonter, designed by shipwrights in destroyed Atlantis whose works fell into the hands of builders in the Hellenic colonies of Cumae. The sail was made with the skin of the Nemean Manticore slain earlier on. The ram and figure ornamentation were recovered from the Argo's wreckage. The crew was Gyges, the Hecatonchires. The heroes of the story spent quite a bit of time roving around on this ship. This will be the cover image on one of the productions, I think.
The first proof of the storyline above (called The Insiders) will be ordered this coming week, and the art for the other proofs lacks fifteen images awaiting digital completion. The books will each have roughly 45 images in them. We are on target for finishing all but the text editing in May.
That means that this week I can start back into drawing Demon's Due traditionally. I have one other kinky illustration project that was started many years ago with a friend and which I hope will be seeing the light of day this month as well. It only lacks three images for completion, so it won't hold Demon's Due up more than a couple of days. And in other news, one car has been sent to the scrap heap (a vehicle we bought nineteen years ago, actually), another car has been purchased, vaccines are all done, and my new computer setup has arrived and is awaiting installation, which is inspiring some of my artistic house-cleaning.
Enjoy!

Also, mostly to feel like I'm really getting back into the swing of things, I'm including a modified version of my normal disclaimer below.
Note: This is a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones real mistreatment toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.
