Description

Here's the first of the images from 2020 to be posted.

His name was Leothon, and he was the son of Helios. In the storyline I created, he was very much a "Heraklean" style hero, in that he tended to ruin as much as he tried to fix or accomplish, leaving a sizable wake of destruction behind him wherever he went and acquiring the enmity and admiration of a number of Olympians along the way. His parentage was debated, and considering the violent impact he tended to bring, many mortals thought him a demigod son of Ares, and the god of war didn't deny it, mostly because Ares wasn't certain about it himself (since the Olympian tended to leave lots of offspring around the world after some of his "work").

Leothon was really the first big "boss" that the characters had to deal with in the storyline, and while the players were prepared for the battle royale that would have ensued, they chose to try to reason with him first. The die rolls were amazingly in their favor that night, and the result was that, after a short period of introspection and self-doubt, Leothon chose a different path that eventually saw him as one of the characters' allies. This was usually a good thing, but sometimes it meant real trouble, because Leothon had some powerful enemies. Still, whenever he got behind the reins of a chariot, javelins in hand, amazing things happened...

Also, mostly to feel like I'm really getting back into the swing of things, I'm including a modified version of my normal disclaimer below.

Note: This is a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones real mistreatment toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.
