Aaah, I luv it 2 see official charactorz in other outfits like this X3 U drew Sonic very well, his body is nice and matched ^^ It looks like an charactor profile cuz of the gfx bg, u got an good idea~
Gl 4 teh contest, I hope u will win with this ^-^
Tips: Some parts of the shadings r a bit 2 dark, just use brighter colors c: I think this pic would be rly awesome, if u use smaller and softer outlines.

my, he looks like someone who goes ridding on some techno circuits |D the outfit is quite pleasant to see, really in the futur-urban style. those rings attached on his shoes make me wheel 8) The background, with a directionnal blur motion is there to say something like: "TADAAA!! here the almighty fastest blue thing on the Earth! Watch him or..." that's just my opinion ~LOL
