Dollhouse Miniature in 1:12 Scale Handcrafted from Polymer ClayThis one was quite relaxing to make for some reason - it took a good 2 hours or so but it was fun trying to capture all the coloring and textures of a traditional English breakfast.
For those not familiar with a dime's size, the pewter dish measures 24mm in diameter
Materials used:
-FIMO and Sculpey brands of polymer clay
-Chalk pastels
-A needle
-Straight razor
-A rock (for texturing)
-J.W. etc varnish
-The pewter dish was purchased from dollhousedestash on Etsy ([link] )

Would you look up Boricua cuisine? Dishes like pastel--a mass of plantain dough filled with meat and beans, and slow cooked in banana leaves for added flavor--are DELICIOUS.

So lovely. I saw other miniature foods but this? This looks like it has been made out of actual food, out of bits to make it look like a small version of a meal. But then again, it is polymer clay!
