***Please take a moment and read this for my son***
He was only 13 years old at this time.
He had had a dream and when he woke he wrote this. You have to understand that my son does not write poetry or literature of any kind. But when I read this it just amazed me it made the hair on my arms stand up. I had forgotten all about it and had just come across it. My mother who is very spiritual show it to her priest. The priest told her that God had spoken to him in his dream. I dont really know if I believe that, but I do know that it is a very powerful thing he wrote. It is his one and only.
This was exactly how he wrote it. I did not change any of the wording to it.

The Lord speaks quietly, and its up to us to have hearts open enough to hear Him.

I can sense it is quite a strong what is it poem or verse. I wish I had some more knowledge of faith so I could understand more of it. Quite a remarkable thing to write at that age.

Well, I am not strong on scripture. But as a Friend pointed out this verse,
Acts 2:17 (New International Version)
17" 'In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
This is kind of what happened to my son. He had a dream the next morning he wrote this in his notebook. He lost the notebook for a while and literally panicked. I told him just to rewrite it. He said he couldnt because he wrote it while it was still fresh in his mind. Everything he is talking about is in the christian faith. I know enough to know that it did mean something. That is the reason I gave it to my mother

I think this is truly a beautiful poem and I really think he was embraced by a divine spirit.. It is a wonder and so special to have had something like that happen to you. Your son must be a very special boy!

I have to admit he is something special. He is a 6'2 gentle giant. He is the most kind heart and generous soul I have ever seen. He has had a rough time at school because he is a little different from all the other boys. But he stands strong.

Well yeah kids are mean.. they will find anything to pick on you.. I am sure he will make it through and they will get tired of bothering him. Gosh what nerve he is so tall and they still pick on him.. tell him to step on them!

Yes, I sometimes think he is. He is a very deep boy. He feels things very deeply. He has the kindest heart I have ever seen I just hope he stays that way.

My oldest was like that and I am happy to say that despite all the cruelties life has offered him, he stayed that way.
For this reason I believe it is your son's nature and he will remain that way.

will you and I both have disscussed our previous religous experinces and I seem to be pretty skeptical and complacent but I remember the things I was taught for a reason.I was sort of getting those cold tingles up my back while reading this then I read your description..Woah..don't know what else to say but this came to mind Acts 2:17
