I like your limted use of color and the highlights, as well as your choice of color of paper 
There is a fair amount of empty space underneath her. I almost feel like the space was designed for text, like as if this illustration was part of a children's book...just a thought ^-^

When I designed Lua, I thought of her as a plush pillow. Your version reminds me of "If PokΓ©mon were real" with living biological detail. Instead of setting on a bed, this Lua looks like she's ready to jump up, fetch the newspaper, then push me away from the laptop so she can update her online profile. Incredible detail! Thank you!
