Hey there, I'm commenting on behalf of  #ProjectComment

I gotta say the drifloon look so cute and adorable in this picture. The background colors are so cute and warm, even though it's a cold color palette, it does bring either a sunrise or sunset to the picture, and the dark purple color you used on top of the sky makes the pic less monochromatic.. Also i like the swirly spiral to imitate the clouds: it's simple, easy to see and renders the idea to clouds ^^.

The drifloon looks nice with saturated colors to mix with he background. It's strings being thick and sharp contrast with the blurry body, a nice touch for a ballon. The only thing that doesn't look good is the cloud "hair" it seems too blurry, even for a cloud. My opinion would be either give a bit of noise or more dynamic shape. It loks like a small round cotton ball. Nevertheless, it's just a small detail.

Ahh, thank you for your comment~ Haha! I admit I did use a blur tool to make the cloud.

you're welcome.

Well when i made cloyds once i used render clouds with a slight smudging, then made 2 more layers in the same cloud to give volume

I really like the way the blurry effect makes the creature seem ethereal and mysterious.

I love the colours you've chosen - the cool blue creature stands out against the warm background. The purple feels 'poisonous' to me and makes the creature seem a little intimidating.

I'm curious. How did you get that swirly pattern? did you draw it or use a texture/brush?

Thank you very much for the comment~ I really appreciate it.
And yes, the swirly pattern is a textured brush from the iPad app, "Brushes"

After I drew the background, it took me like 5 days to decide who to draw.

The side effect of jumping styles and having too many brushes. And it's near impossible to even see the lines when you draw on a background this dark, lol.
