Description
I never expected the day to come so soon that I would FINALLY FINISH THIS MONSTER!
**NOTE: I am fully aware that Ice Queen does not have her tiara. I, with full knowledge of doing so, opted not to include her tiara in this painting because it would severely distract from Fionna, BMO, and Cake as fairies. There's already a lot going on up there, the last thing that was needed was a golden tiara.
Final size: 5100px x 7014px ; 600ppi resolution
(note: the image seen above is about 17% of the full size.)
Background is digitally painted, based on a mixture of a stock image of clouds and a screenshot from “Mortal Folly” .
Reference for Ice Queen’s hand was also used.

Please, please, please, PLEASE let me know what you think considering this is my first FULL, legit digital painting AND I worked my ASS off for a year now to complete this!

Yup, nearly a year now. What was going to be a quick sketch turned into this. Oh, and the whole short story thing? Yeah, did I ever show you guys the stack of nearly 100 scrap sheets of paper I've used to write the story? It's not short anymore.

Good choice not to include Ice Queen's tiara, it would have severely screwed with the composition, which is just lovely might I add.
Fantastic work Anni, I can't imagine how long this must've taken you D: Well worth it I'd say! Your digital rendering skills are pretty fab. The way Fionna, BMO and Cake are rendered is really solid yet it doesn't detract from the main focus of Marshall and Gumball. Same with the Ice Queen. Seriously, kudos on that composition
The rendering of fabric (particularly Marshall's cape and the ribbons) is really good too.

It was nice to see everything up close, though. The way you draw eyes and shiny objects is so prettyyy! Ice Queen's whole face is gorgeous.

It was good for the smaller details, but when I had to do Ice Queen and the background, it took a while to fill all that space.
