In the next few days I shall hopefully be adding photos of my work that I took to the Peterborough Doll Show.This piece is my favourite so I thought I would share it with you.
I quite like this sculpture just by itself ( see other pics of this piece ) but since I am a fairy artist I had to add a wee fae
It was my 1st attempt at sculpting a goldfish and I would love to create more.
This little fishie is set in resisn.

ah I see that you have encountered that pesky line where the different castings meet as well... Great job though! I did mine with Koi and the resign like separated and cracked at the top for some reason. Did that happen to you as well or no?

The resin didnt get separated, but the glass itself cracked maybe due to the expandsion ?? Hmmm alot to learn before I attempt another one. Its one of my favourite creations too.

You got cracking too?!! I got cracks too but they appeared on the top of the resin. I was so upset when it happened too I was like: "i was happy with how this was. Fully content to deal with the mistakes that were already present, and then you went and cracked!"

Hands down THE most incredibly lifelike sculpted fish I've EVER seen. I tried (and failed) to steal this at the Peterborough Show. You really have to see it to believe it! The way it magnifies is just BRILLIANT! You should definitely do more fishieeeees!

I sculpted the fish from polymer clay.
And painted it with arcylic paints.
