Rarijack actually isn't that bad. But even after the episode "Look Before You Sleep" Rarity and Applejack still aren't really "the best of friends". But they're obviously still good friends, though they aren't like each other at all, which is a weak spot in their friendship. And judging by that, I wouldn't expect anything such as RariJack to sprout.

Well for one it’s a children’s show. They won’t even say that Applejack’s parents are dead, and Derpy’s IQ was significantly raised after parents complained.

Really? Didn't know that about Derpy, that's interesting to say the least. I know they won't make it obvious especially to the kiddies but it could at least be hinted in a way in which the older audience would know. There's a tendency to slip in messages like this in a kid's show. We do have children media in which LGBT characters have been established. We know that AJ's parents are deceased because of all the evidence, mostly their absence in their children's life, the two shooting stars Applejack once saw and how ponies speak of them using past tense words. I also think it was confirmed by Lauren Faust. They may even have posts about it on twitter or the like.

Scootaloo’s aunts have been canon in the books and comics for a while now. Little children wouldn’t notice these things, and it’s unlikely that Hasbro would do anything with any of the main characters.

I don't like it because of the following reasons
1. Rarity has shown interests in colts and stallions ONLY throughout the show. But even not taking that into account I don't think A.J. would be Rarity's type.
2. Applejack strikes me as the type who is too busy to think about or consider romance period.
3. I'm against shipping between the main six in general (Aside from occasional Twijack and Flutterdash. But not on a serious level.). Because I feel it would interfere with the group dynamic and might cause some problems in the future (Especially if they break up.)
