I'm surprised that there aren't that many people who draw or talk about the fact Shadowman wasn't built by Wily at all, and is rumored to be made by some ancient alien civilization.
And of course me, the lover of crossovers, have come to the conclusion that it would be awesome if Shadowman might have connections to Mobius.

I didn't go with Emerl's design exactly, I just did a random Gizoid really.
Although Shadowman's memory would be glitched and probably doesn't remember anything correctly anyway.

Yeah, They were made by Shade the Echidna's clan. I'm sure Shadowman has some type of connection to them.

Maybe Nocturnus built him as a sort of stealth-surveillance bot during their war with the Knuckles Clan?

Sounds plausible. I've thought of him as a spy, assassin, or some sort of shadow bodyguard. The last one thanks to seeing some pages of Shadowman from Megaman Megamix.

But how did he get to earth and not get sucked into the Twilight cage?

Well, from what it looks like the Twilight Cage is in charge by a creature named Argus, and it might be able to travel through worlds? Perhaps something went wrong and poor Shadowman ended up being sent to Earth during the journey. Of course he landed and was damaged enough that he ended up being shut off for about...a long time. If Earth time is the same as Mobius, it'll be about 4,000 years.

Well, considering Wily probably wiped his memory and rebuilt him before activating him, it probably wasn't different from being turned on for the first time.

...I'm sure there's some part of Shadowman that isn't Wily. I mean, I bet Wily took a look at his programming first and decided to keep whatever was useful to him. What he did to the other stuff though, well, I have no clue. He could've deleted it, but maybe he kept it since he might have wanted to check it out later. The only thing I can see Wily doing from scratch for the robot would be the body since it was probably pretty damaged.

Ahhhh, I hope we get to explore them! Although his story is really minor compared to everything else we got in our RP. But boy would I love to explore them!
