It is sad that you hear from tigers, elephants, wales etc. all the time... which are facing extinction and that you can donate for them.
But nobody gives a damn about maned wolves. Why? Because nobody knows about them. So many people have never seen one before.
They do not know that something like a maned wolf even exists. They hear of jaguars, tapir, parrots, armadillos, alpaca...Β
All in their nice and sweet child books and documentaries.Β And nobody gives a damn about these fellas. Why?
I have never even seen a documentary where these fellas show up. Dora the explorer does not count haha but it is a cool fact that there is a child show which features maned wolves.
Is there even one documentary about them? If yes, please show me.
Sad, as they look so interesting and beautiful. I mean, this guy is not related to any other canine. It's its own species. Isn't that cool enough to be saved or even cared for?

I know, it's very sad, I'm planning on doing some stickers for them and the Wild Dogs to save some money to donate for them. They are two of my favorite and it's sad not a lot of poeple care about them
