Just to be creative lol otherwise the design would be quite boring.
In reality, there're ppl wearing it in front too.

ah, because whores wear it in front(well, traditionally) but i didn't know if there were exceptions i know about hanfu, not kimonos

oh yeah it used to be geisha's style but nowaday is quite popular, especially for magazine cover and avant garde poster.
Also, I personally like it better up front But well, I did't really follow the kimono rules watsoever so... you may say this is my own kind of kimono haha kinda like a mix between kimono and yukata.
