Illusion in the mist. It shows what or whom you really want in this world.

Another art trade! With the amazing and lovely a Kakashi artist I admire and look up too so I can be like her one day heheehehe she also has fabulous KakaIta pieces. don't hate if your not a fan...

Anyways. The theme was on the elements. Opposing elements actually. My element was water...so can you guess hers? If not I'll tell you! FIRE! Anyway water is the theme...so I had to sit there for a while to figure out what the heck I was gonna do so I came up with RAIN! And Mist. There made out of water...so why not? lol.

She really loves KakashixItachi. Although I'm not as big a fan as she is on the couple (but I'm still a fan) this theme kinda went hand in hand on her view of these two. And with doing this piece how can I not have a soft spot for these two? I hope I portrayed the emotion in this one pretty well...it was incredibly hard..especially with two of the most emotion-less characters..hahahaa. But thats how Itachi and Kakashi are and don't you just absolutely love them??

Dakita-san's thoughts which I treasure greatly because I look up to her xD. You might wanna read it...it pretty much nails the head on everything I tried to portray in this piece.

I am still at *kaisei-karasu her place, and she opened her DA inbox while I suddenly saw this
outburst of amazing flowing colours and askedher to full-view it (yet not realising it was yours).

And then I actually kind of died..

Kaisei-san is gone now for a hour or two, which means I am having the time to comment on this masterpiece!!
First of all I have to say I just love the colours in this! I always admire your way of colouring,
it's really dared and expressive! If people ask me for advice, I always tell them not to be scared of colours,
and to try to experiment with those, and yet I am always somehow scared to put the 3 primair colours,
(red blue and yellow) together. But you seemed to blur those 3 together so well in this piece!
It's amazing!
I love how the rain seems to fall and flow through Itachi's hair, but how this same rain doesn't seem
to touch Kakashi.

And the emotions in this artwork are so deep. It's indeed hard to draw something feelingfull with those two
perfect shinobi, who always seem to mask their emotions and inner thoughts perfectly.
And yet that always motivates me to try to figure out their true thoughts and motivations.
I just love how you used the mist as a mirror for their true inner beings, mist indeed is something inexplicable and mysterious, as their are a lot of myths and fairytails written about this element.
As for examble how you can get lost in thick mist, and how it has the power to make the world arround
you blur and vanish, to leave you alone with yourself and your inner being.
It's said that you can find your true self in there as well.. + it's Kakashi's jutsu~!

This also somehow reminded me of Kakashi vs Itachi in shippuden, when Itachi is standing their in the forest, while he suddenly get's surrounded by Kakashi's mist-jutsu, at which Itachi replies:
"Kakashi-san, let's end this silly game of Hide and Seek."
..I always wondered what he meant by that, though your drawing somehow gave me a more proper clue
about it..

Itachi seems so deeply lost in thoughts, he doesn't seem to care about the fact that he's getting soaked wet
beneath this heavy rain. his eyes seem so empty and blanc, but yet it's not his cold masked familiair expression,
it's something deeper, it caries such a heavy sadness within it.
He seems to not be able to meet those sorrowed eyes of the man in front of him. He can't look into those
eyes, which are looking down at him. Those eyes which cary so much care and regrets, sorrow and despair.
In order to keep this life he's fated to life, he can't look into those eyes, and give in.

That's how I feel about your masterpiece (:
