Description Now, before anybody comes at me and fill the comments section with several angry and toxic comments below, let me just say this for one second. The more I play It's About Time, the more I start to realise that it isn't what it really is by most fans since in one of the game's cutscenes, it shows footage of a cutscene from the N Sane Trilogy and not the original PS1 Crash Bandicoot game, and if you look in one of the cutscenes, there are other characters from the post Naughty Dog era, and really, I've noticed that it only showed bits and pieces from the N Sane trilogy and not the PSX trilogy like some stock footage and the updated character icons and the hard difficulty, so when it comes to it, It's About Time is actually a sequel to the N Sane Trilogy, not the original PSX version of Warped, as that goes to the Wrath of Cortex which continues from the bad ending of Crash 3, which then continues into Twinsanity and then it goes into Titans and then into Mind over Mutant, and really, the N Sane trilogy is an alternate universe continuity that is later followed by It's About Time, and if an actual eighth game in the series were to appear, it be a game in the same vein as It's About Time but in the original continuity, so even if you guys keep bashing on the Post-Naughty Dog era for being developed by different studios and not by Naughty Dog themselves, just let me remind you that the Wrath of Cortex is still the real Crash 4 and It's About Time is the alternative Crash 4, where WTC is in the original continuity and IBT is in the alternate continuity just like the N Sane Trilogy is, got it.

So before anyone proves me wrong on this one by saying that the Flashback Tapes use music from the original Playstation 1 games and not the N Sane Trilogy (since Universal Pictures don't own the franchise anymore which could be the same with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit but I digest) and we have the retro skin for Crash but those are the only references to the original continuity that are in It's About Time, and I know the Universal reference might scare some fans, but it's all my opinion, and I can like games such as the GBA titles, Nitro Kart, Wrath of Cortex, Bash and Twinsanity for all I care, we all have opinions here and I respect yours if you don't like the post Naughty Dog era Crash games, but sending hate comments to me and telling me I'm wrong is unacceptable and really, this is common amongst the Crash Bandicoot community and really, I'm one of those people who were sad that Crash was no longer a mascot in Universal Studios theme parks, since he must've been a treat for fans like me, and basically, my uncle got me an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit plush from 2004 for me on my 1st birthday and I loved it, so really, does it matter if the Post Naughty Dog era Crash games aren't as good as the OG PS1 trilogy, since I don't think it does, since people are allowed to have their own opinions, and basically, treating the post Naughty Dog era Crash games as if they're worse than Hitler is pretty immature and really, this was very common during the entirety of the 2000s and is still present even to this day with the existence of It's About Time, and thanks to a post on reddit that mocks the entire post Naughty Dog era, I can say the Crash fanbase is easily one of the most toxic communities out there to date.

So yeah, IMO, Crash 4 is technically a sequel to the N Sane Trilogy since it was decided by Activision and Toys for Bob that it was more easier to make a new Crash 4 since the post Naughty Dog era Crash games aren't fondly remembered by many nowadays and have become mostly forgotten by today's standards, and since bad games never get remade and are left in the dust to rot forever and are the reason why they never get rereleased on modern platforms due to their negative reception and reputation for being terrible by many gamers everywhere,

So what I'm saying is, the series didn't die in the 2000's, it was still very popular and there were still deals with other companies to prompt these brands, and really, the post Naughty Dog era Crash games are still canon to the series, just mostly through the original continuity and not the new continuity which is where both the N Sane Trilogy and It's About Time are set in overall, and really, it doesn't matter if a game has a great story, what matters in games are the gameplay, and really, when it comes down to it, the Wrath of Cortex is still a follow-up to Warped, but only the original PS1 version of Warped, not the remastered version of it, which is what It's About Time follows from in terms of story and continuity.

So for anyone who actually likes the post Naughty Dog era Crash games, don't worry, they're still canon but only through the original continuity that follows from the original PS1 trilogy, and the alternate continuity is both the N Sane Trilogy and It's About Time, and really, Nitro-Fueled is completely separate from this since that's mostly a different continuity altogether and features a lot of characters from all of the past Crash games, including the post Naughty Dog era games, so it doesn't count as being apart of the original series nor alternate continuity of the franchise.

So yeah, that was just me explaining that It's About Time is actually a sequel to the N Sane Trilogy, and that we can still view games such as Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity as being canon in the series and that it doesn't matter if any game is canon or not, it just depends on what universe they're from, which in this case, the original continuity is the OG PSX games, Cortex Strikes Back, Warped, Wrath of Cortex, Twinsanity, Bash, Nitro Kart, Team Racing, Boom Bang (sadly that monstrosity of a game is apart of the original canon sadly), Tag Team Racing, N Tranced and The Huge Adventure, and also the Spyro crossover, yeah I forgot about that, while the Titans continuity is a separate thing from other games, while the N Sane Trilogy and It's About Time are apart of a new continuity altogether.

And before anybody starts to yell at me and say hurtful things in the comments section, I just have to say that this is all my opinion alright, your allowed to have your own opinion on this subject and anybody is allowed to say that It's About Time is indeed an actual sequel to Warped and it's okay to say that the post Naughty Dog era games are non-canon, but wishing that they don't exist and should be erased from existence altogether isn't acceptable in my eyes, and really, it's okay for anyone to not like games such as the Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity, but it's also okay to say that the original trilogy is overrated or games like Titans are underrated, any type of criticism can be allowed, either if it's positive or negative criticism, but if anybody starts to harass me and post mean and hateful comments on this post, then I will block you and prevent you from harassing me ever again, understand.

So yeah, that's all for now, that really was a long one, wasn't it.
