As suggested by BayushiKachiko here an alternate version of the first "Colliding Worlds", this one dedicated to templar/soldiers

So who would you pair Thane with? Zevran? Solas?

Mmm, such a good question! Well.. Zevran is far less spiritual than Thane... and Solas is very spiritual, but not an assassin... so... maybe Leliana? I think she's the one with more similarities. She is an assassin, she is ruthless if necessary but spiritual as much as Thane is.

Hmm... that does sound good, but Solas is a killer after all. The Great Betrayer, the Bringer of Nightmares, etc etc etc. He's actions are also all motivated by regret, just like Thane's is. The regrets are different but they are both their primary motivators.
And now that I think that, Zevran is not a great candidate. It's definitely Leliana or Solas.

Yes, you're right about Solas. But maybe, as you said, his situation is slightly different, knowing who he is.. For Leliana I find a great affinity for the piousness, the cold blood, when it's needed, the sense of duty. And she has her burden of regrets either, expecially in Inquisition.. I guess they would be both good for the pairing
